One night, my Master returned home showing full smile on his face. It seemed he had a very happy event. I carefully listened to conversation between my Master and his wife inside the door. Master said, ” I finally encountered big Peter Damm fan in Tokyo. ” My master get acquaintance with Mr.K who visited live concert of Peter Damm and visited Peter Damm’s house 4 times in the past.
Mr.K told Brahms No.2 Concert is one of his favorite. I introduce the recording to show our respect to Mr.K.
Music
The Concert No.2 was written in 1878, when Brahms was middle forty with full of energy. As the first Piano concerto could not win good reputation at all, Brahms composed 2nd Piano concert to reset the previous fail. It seems this is satisfactory works for himself. He dedicated this works to his music teacher, Eduard Marxsen.
